Barcode

1D, 2D and QR code barcoding remains the leading tracking technology and is excellent for many applications where close proximity scanning works and accuracy and automation of transactions is important.

UHF RFID

UHF RFID provides passive tracking and security by forming RFID choke-point detection zones of 30’+. Mobile scanners with 25’+ distance enable rapid inventories and the ability to find missing objects.

Long Range RFID

Long-range tracking enables real-time tracking.  Active, Ultra-wideband and LoRaWAN RFID readers and gateways provide detection distances up to 100’s or even 1’000’s of feet.

Bluetooth (BLE)

BLE is a low energy tracking platform that provides long range tracking of 100’s of feet, but with smaller tags and longer battery life, enabling real-time tracking over long distances at low cost.

GSM/GPS

GSM and GPS technologies provide real-time tracking anywhere with cell tower coverage or line-of-sight to satellites, enabling all-the-time worldwide tracking of people, vehicles, equipment and assets.

Barcoding and QR codes

  • Barcoding speeds transactions and ensures accuracy of data capture, preventing the human errors that occur when using keyboard or paper processes.
  • Barcoding is a close proximity scanning technology of one barcode at a time within approximately 1’ distance. Improves check-in / check-out, inventory and audit workflows.

UHF RFID

  • Network-connected RFID antennas are placed at doorways, dock doors and exits for tracking and security, and can be placed at any chokepoint within facilities and at vehicle gates.
  • Mobile scanners scan storage system location labels to indicate where objects are being placed into storage, and for intake, inventories, smart audits, finding needed objects and cycle counts.

Long-range technologies

  • Real-time tracking (RTLS – real time location system) indoors and outdoors, so that you know where all of your objects and people are located at all times, real-time.

  • Receivers receive tag data transmitted by tags that are transmitting their identification #.  Detection zones can be calibrated for close proximity detection, such as at a specific door, dock, choke-point or gate, or, can be calibrated for reading all tags in proximity over 100’s of meters all-at-once.

GSM / GPS

  • GSM and GPS tracking technologies enable tracking objects and people worldwide, real-time, all-the-time
  • GSM and GPS technologies blend with long-range and short-range tracking technologies for a comprehensive, seamless tracking platform

  • Barcoding is a close-proximity with scanning of one barcode at a time within approximately 1’ distance. Improve check-in / check-out, inventory and audit workflows.

Security Technologies

  • Doorways and choke-point tracking zones can be equipped with lightstack / alarm to prevent unauthorized removals or movements.
  • Motion sensor video cameras capture video when a person passes through a tracking zone, linking the video footage to the tracking technology data of a person moving objects.

  • Personnel can be authenticated with fingerprint pad, PIN # or ID card prior to being issued objects.
  • Chain-of-custody can be validated through electronic signature, electronic PIN # or ID card.

GSM / GPS

  • GSM / GPS tags can be placed on any object or person to track their locations real-time, indoors or outdoors, worldwide.

  • Tags can include special features such as measuring movement, acceleration, direction, separation from host and similar data parameters.
